Chronic Disorganisation and NDIS/Aged Care Clients

Pretty Please offers non-judgemental coaching and hands-on services to relieve hoarding and disorganisation within the home. Our approach is tailored to suit individual situations but the amount of assistance required and necessary timeframe, can often be longer than anticipated.

The number of sessions will depend on the size of the home, level of disorganisation and clutter, as well as the client’s capacity for decision-making.

Some clients will only require a few sessions to concentrate on key areas while others may need up to a year to work through the process. In most cases, allowing for six months of regular sessions is a good average to work from.

However long it takes, we are there to support clients through this process by introducing creative and manageable solutions that encourage new life skills and support their independence, within a friendly and respectful environment.

We are experienced in supporting clients both children and adults with physical and psych/social disabilities. These can range from post-traumatic stress disorder, visual impairment, chronic disease, acquired brain injuries, multiple sclerosis, ADHD, autism, depression and anxiety disorder just to name a few.

Pretty Please can work with both private and funded clients who may be able to access our services through their government-funded package plans.

These can include NDIS*, Home Care and Aged Care packages or Carer Gateway. We recommend contacting the relevant organisations directly to determine eligibility for funding support.

Would not have been possible without you
What Pretty Please has done has transformed my life, business and home. It enabled me to clear away years of unwanted possessions - possessions that I may say I had been blaming my husband for hoarding. When you and I actually looked at them, 95% of them were mine !!!. Fantastic results
I have recently hired the services of Pretty Please with fantastic results. Not a serial hoarder, I have still managed to pack far too much into my home, and it came to a point where my home wasn’t working for me. Regardless of best intentions, I knew if I were going to have my home the way I envisaged it, I needed some help. Pretty Please were brilliant from the start. They put me at ease, and I felt comfortable making decisions over what was and what wasn’t staying. They made it very clear that despite their help (both physically and emotionally!), I was the one in control and they were simply there to help enable that to happen. Whilst we have not quite finished my project, we are nearly halfway there and that is only after one day of active work! I was very impressed with just how much we got done, largely due to having three pairs of hands, but also because as the day wore on I felt more and more empowered, allowing me to make the changes I had needed to make for such a long time. One garage cleared and organised, and left is a study to de-clutter, decorate and furnish in a usable manner! I would definitely recommend Pretty Please services and look forward to continuing to work with them over this next month.

So much was achieved
I finally asked for help with clutter, after thinking about doing so for ages. I looked at the Pretty Please website and thought I could work with them. I didn’t want to do the decluttering but couldn’t carry on any longer with things the way they were. Pretty Please helped me reclaim two bedrooms in time for Christmas visitors, which I didn’t think would be possible. Since then Pretty Please has helped with other rooms – some were so cluttered they were unusable. I didn’t want to get rid of anything as most of it would “come in useful at some time”. Pretty Please was easy to work with, they worked very hard, were cheerful and adapted to what was necessary on the day. So much was achieved, to our amazement. They have also helped get “the stuff” out of the house which has been very helpful. I can thoroughly recommend Pretty Please as a “declutterer”.
