While we spend many years growing our families, our homes, our possessions, there comes a time when things change course — when children grow up, parents move into aged care, houses become too big and some belongings become less crucial to your daily life. But where do you start downsizing? It’s not easy staring into the abyss of a lifetime of accumulating, which is where a second pair of eyes and hands can help. Pretty Please are professional home organisers so whether you are downsizing to reclaim valuable space or moving to a smaller home, our team can help you do it all, as pain-free and proficiently as possible.
DECLUTTERING
Losing a loved one is an extremely difficult time. Not only are you coping with the grief and gamut of emotion of having to say goodbye to someone special, you can also face a workload that requires you to wear a logistical hat in the middle of your loss. It’s never easy, and while friends and family can help where they can, the tyranny of distance or personal circumstances can mean some tasks are just too much of a burden to shoulder.
Pretty Please offer a specialised service that can assist you through this difficult time. They can be involved as closely as you like, or at arm’s length, to help organise and work through belongings that can be accumulated over a lifetime.
The team can help with the item decluttering, sorting, packing and distribution in the way and manner you prefer. This can include providing digital inventories, organising certified appraisals, and the selling or donating of items.
Whether it’s personal possessions, household items, furniture, clothing, collections, or vital documentation or paperwork, be assured sensitivity and care is at the centre of Pretty Please’s handling of your loved one’s belongings. Once the estate contents are carefully processed, Pretty Please can also help look after the family home, taking care of cleaning and repairs or presentation for sale. As every situation is different, Pretty Please is mindful that the services that may be required will vary.
Pre-sale Staging
When it comes to selling your home there’s nothing more crucial than ensuring it is presented in the best possible light. Not only will that help you attract more motivated buyers and achieve the best price possible, you will also save yourself a headache when it comes time to move. Pretty Please has a range of services that can help you prepare for the sale the moment you decide to put your house on the market.
From its decluttering sessions and pre-move packing to the final styling and staging to showcase your home’s best assets (while allowing life to continue) — Pretty Please can be there until it’s time to pop the champagne and put that SOLD sign up. And if you need help moving out and relocating, Pretty Please can assist with that too.
We offer a flexible full or partial staging process to suit every budget. This can include repurposing existing furniture and personal items to showcase your home’s best assets, or hiring pieces from a professional furniture and decorative service to stage your home. A mix of both is also an option.
Personal Concierge
Having a personal concierge is no longer the domain of five-star hotels or millionaires. It’s about living your best life and relegating your time to more important things, like growing your business and spending more time with family. Maybe you need a break from the little things that can add up and overwhelm, or you just can’t get around as easily as you used to. If that means hiring a professional to occasionally catch few of those tasks you are juggling, Pretty Please can be the perfect extra hand. Prices: Booking a block of time in advance is the most cost effective way to engage Pretty Please’s concierge services.

Chronic Disorganisation and NDIS Clients
Pretty Please offers non-judgemental coaching and hands-on services to relieve hoarding and disorganisation within the home. Our approach is tailored to suit individual situations but the amount of assistance required and necessary timeframe, can often be longer than anticipated. We are experienced in supporting clients both children and adults with physical and psych/social disabilities. These can range from post-traumatic stress disorder, visual impairment, chronic disease, acquired brain injuries, multiple sclerosis, ADHD, autism, depression and anxiety disorder just to name a few.
